In this assignment students will:
- Prepare for an additional work of art that may be added to a portfolio.
Project Proposal: (Worksheet)
- Complete a "Project Proposal" worksheet for each project.
- This should be submitted prior to beginning your IWB pages.
Investigation Workbooks: (5 pgs.)
- Research a contemporary social issue of your choice. The research must be in-depth and correctly cited Using MLA format.
- Each page should contain at least 3 citations. One of these citations must be from a print based source and highlighted.
- Explore and record your compositional process in 5-10 thumbnail sketches.
- This process should clearly link your IWB to the resulting studio work.
- These sketches should clearly show some of the thought processes involved in creating the work of art.
- Record the process for selecting the media best suited to with work for its expressive quality.
- Include illustrations of process or experiments in mixed media the will lead to the final selection
- Include personal thoughts on the processes through dated annotations and reflections.
- Reflect on the use of media and its success or failure in this project through dated annotations and reflections.
Studio Work: (1 Work of Art)
